Welcome Week Hike - Ivybridge Circular!

**THIS EVENT NEEDS A PROMOCODE TO ATTEND - COME FIND US AT THE FRESHERS FAIR (STREATHAM WEDNESDAY 19TH OR ST LUKES THURSDAY 19TH) TO GET THE PROMO CODE** Join OODS for our first Saturday hike of the year! Come and enjoy the beauties of Dartmoor with a fun and enjoyable hike around Ivybridge. Ivybridge is a beautiful walk, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of Dartmoor, the calmness of the forest and listen to some brilliant babbling brooks. We are welcome to all abilities, come along to get to know our committee and meet other members. Our Welcome Week walks are ALL completely free! It is STRONGLY advised to wear SUITABLE FOOTWEAR. The Basics: - A public transport walk - Attendees pay for their own transport. - 8 miles/ 13 kilometres - Walk Spiciness Rating: Moderate. The Timings: Meet committee at Exeter St David's Train Station at 09:15 to catch the 09:26 train to Ivybridge. Please buy a return train ticket to Ivybridge. We will be back in Exeter no later than 18:30. What to bring: You MUST wear suitable footwear and bring weather appropriate clothing (Waterproofs, hats, sun cream, etc.). OODS reserves the right to reject attendees wearing unsafe footwear/clothing. Please bring a lunch and water, as well as snacks. Emergency Contact/Illnesses: If you have any medical conditions incl. severe allergies please let our president Max know, and bring any medication which you may need. In case of emergencies during the walk, Max's number is 07957 146191. Please ONLY use in an emergency. Returns policy: If you are unable to attend the walk please contact the society no later than Friday 20th September. If you try to cancel your ticket after this point we cannot guarantee you a refund.
