We are proud to present Vivian Jones, legendary veteran vocalist of the UK roots scene. Vivian has scores of killer tunes and performances under his belt, including recordings with Jah Shaka, Bobby Digital, Sly and Robbie. Vivian's mic skills range from lovers to conscious roots and this special live performance is not to be missed. Joining Vivian on the firephone we are equally proud to present and welcome back another UK soundsystem veteran, Speng Bond: Dancehall's 001! Speng is one of the ruffest toasters in the reggae scene and is renowned for his energetic delivery and for raising the crowd into a frenzy during his past appearances with Freedom Soundsystem. Ruff meets Smooth! We are very much looking forward to this lyrical meeting of minds and styles! To bring this lineup we are linking up with Shaolin Sound, heavyweight roots producer from Norwich. Shaolin Sound has been releasing some of the tuffest new roots, rubadub and digital vibrations about, and bringing these releases to dances across the UK and Europe. He will be laying down musical murder on the turntable, expect the heat to get turned up to full! Of course your Freedom selectors Digi-Cal and Papa Si will also be live and direct, alongside the melodica stylings of Horace Hornell and the conscious lyrics of Morgan Elwy.
