The Shoe Cake Comedy Club - Stand Up & Improv Show

It's our FRIDAY NIGHT SPECIAL of our long running stand up comedy and improv show. Every second month we flip from our usual stand up comedy club night to a hybrid night featuring a fab stand up comedian opening the show, followed by two sections of improvised sketch from our resident improv group The Discount Comedy Checkout. Something very different for the northern comedy scene .... and FANTASTIC FUN! Featuring .... If you've never seen improvised comedy before, you are in for a right treat. All the games, scenarios, and situations are formed and created from your suggestions ... that's right YOU, the audience. It's very much in the style of 'Whose Line is it Anyway' but with a modern twist .... and normally a little riskier and ruder and too.
