Come join us for the first salon event of the year hosted by Matteo Nizzardo!
Matteo Nizzardo is a PhD student in the School of Philosophy. His research here focuses on Leibniz’s Principle of Identity of Indiscernibles. In his talk, he will introduce us to the Simulation Hypothesis, which proposes that our reality is nothing but a computer-generated simulation. He will explore the arguments for and against this radical idea, and discuss its implications for our understanding of ourselves and the world.
