Screening of Oppenheimer at Campus Cinema 5:30pm

Set in the backdrop of World War II, Chistopher Nolan’s newest blockbuster thriller follows the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy) from his humble beginnings studying physics all the way to the completion of the Manhattan Project where the first atomic bomb was dropped. Oppenheimer struggles to deal with the weight of this project as he tackles a difficult relationship as well as intense pressure from the government to complete the bomb. The completion of this mission is contrasted with a much later struggle as Oppenheimer is forced to face a difficult case against him, having to relive his actions and come to terms with the consequences of what he created.
