It follows RIM CEO Mike Lazardis and his best friend Douglas Fregin as they come up with a pitch for a new line of cellular phones called pocket link. They pitch their idea to a potential investor, Jim Basille, who eventually joins them and makes himself CEO, deciding to name their signature phone the Blackberry. This hilariously absurd and tragic story of the company’s rapid rise and downfall in the tech business is an absolute watch for fans of mockumentaries and other satirical biographical films.
