Schola Cantorum of Oxford with Thierry Escaich

Schola Cantorum of Oxford presents the UK première of the 'Messe romane' by the French organist Thierry Escaich, accompanied by the composer himself at the organ. The movements of the mass will be interwoven with motets by the French Renaissance composer Jehan L'Héritier and with improvisations by Thierry Escaich on the only organ in Oxford to be designed in the style of the great French builder Aristide Cavaillé-Coll.
