Phad Painting- Woman on Swing

Phad is a type of scroll painting that narrates and elaborates religious stories of local deities and gods. They were created as traveling or mobile temples that were carried by the priest singers of the Rabari tribe. The paintings would be unrolled after sunset and the performance would last into the night. A swing is loved by everyone, no matter the age.
