Operation Khataza

Operation Khataza is embarking on its first national tour: The Azania tour. After spending the past two years growing, writing and acquiring the right people for the music, they will mark this monumental occasion by activating the Commons in Muizenberg. The Commons is a cornerstone of the Cape Town music scene and the venue where Operation Khataza played their first sold-out show in late July 2023. Known for their high-energy sets, messages of love and liberation, Operation Khataza will be igniting this tour with their most refined set to date. Marking just over 2 years of existence, this set embodies the growth and challenges the band has overcome to reach this milestone. This show, as well as Operation Khataza’s entire tour has been made possible because of funding support from Concerts SA, the South African National Treasury’s Jobs Fund and the Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) as part of the Festival Enterprise Catalyst (FEC).
