After years of playing and being an MD in the London Jazz Funk Scene of the 1990s including residences at Ronnie Scott’s and the 100 club Bassist and Band leader Jason Charles Rogers returned to Cardiff Wales to Form his funky Ensemble Monkjack .Consisting of the finest and funkiest most seasoned musicians of the local Scene such as Former Dark Chunk Vocalist Suzi Chunk and Guitarist Chris Krik young .Funk Keyboardist George Olney ,Pro Drummer Aitch Johnson and The Formidable duo of Ceri Williams Trumpet and John Farrow sax .Monkjack play a soul funk and RNB show featuring classics by Artsists like Kool and the Gang ,Odessy ,James Brown , Chic and many more for an evening of uplifting and entertaining funk and groove .
