About

⚡️ Slipped Disc All-Nighter ⚡️ ► We’re back in Cambridge after a long summer, and we’ve been working hard to bring you a crazy year of Junction shows, stacked with quality headliners from the rich spectrum of electronic and dance music. Last year, we brought Joy Orbison, TSHA, DJ Boring, IZCO and Pretty Girl to headline in Cam, and this year is about to get even bigger. ► This term we are kicking things off with a crazy line-up, with some of the best UK selectors in the scene at the moment. Expect a night of high-energy sets, feeding you the juiciest house, techno and garage. It’s the biggest dance music night of term, with over 1000 music-lovers dancing between two rooms, with huge lighting visuals and an unmatched sound system. ******************************************************************************************* ► “It's pretty impossible to not be swept away by something so pure in intention and flawless in execution” The Fader (on ‘Always Been’). London-based artist I. JORDAN is a true disciple of high-energy, high-emotion music. Since deciding to release their own original music in 2019 after a decade of holding down DJ residencies and promoting DIY parties has taken the world by storm. It’s been a soaring few years for the Doncaster-born, London-based DJ and producer since their pivot to fast-paced club music. In the last year, they’ve teamed up with the likes of Fred again.., Eliza Rose, and Romy on new productions, and collaborated with SHERELLE on a double-tracker and newly-announced world tour, Reflections, hitting Europe, USA, Canada, and Mexico. They’ve picked up a nomination for Best Producer at the annual NME Awards, appeared on the front cover spots of both DJ Mag and NME, signed to Ninja Tune for the release of ‘Watch Out!’, and stole the show at many high profile festivals. On top of that, they won Mini-Mix of the Year at the BBC Radio 1 Dance Awards, delivered a huge Essential Mix and hosted their own four-show BBC Radio 1 residency, which saw them focus on their own musical journey but also shine the spotlight on their community, with one show 100% focused on non-binary and trans artists. ► Y U QT have very quickly built a reputation as the ones to watch in the new house, garage and rave scene. Selling out key UK venues around the country with huge headline slots, as well as their own Y U QT All Nyte events, they’ve secured a place a the forefront of the rapidly evolving high-energy underground scene. They’re certainly doing something right, picking up a Boiler Room debut, playing at Waterworks festival and went on a US tour. Now, with a hefty gigging schedule lined up for the next few months, they’re also gearing up to drop their new EP, BABE?. Now signed to LG105/Virgin alongside Mall Grab and Ross From Friends, their vinyl releases have gathered momentum via Bandcamp and caught the attention of DJs like Ben UFO, Disclosure, Or:la, Octa Octa & Eris Drew. They’ve been tearing up dance floors everywhere, with their pumping dubs and edits, including a remix of Bicep’s Apricots and Joy Orbison’s Hyph Mngo. ► Borne Fruits boss and Rinse FM staple Amaliah commands the rave as one of London’s most exciting artists, hybridizing modern house and techno sounds with global club cuts rooted in a love of soundsystem culture. Her DJ sets are signified by a purposeful energy informed by years of raving, where she unleashes anything from prog-laden house cuts alongside tribal techno pumpers before diving headfirst into percussive bass warpers and beyond. Crucially, these eclectic club styles sing harmoniously under her exhilarating party stewardship, exposing years of record digging and a general obsession with electronic music. This is exhibited with an impressive archive of mixes for the likes of Boiler Room, Crack Magazine, Hör and a much-loved Rinse FM residency, while also in standout sets at venerable institutions Panorama Bar, De School and Fabric and at festivals like Glastonbury, Love International, Gala and Waterworks. ► Backing them up is a selection of some of the very best Cambridge-bred talent. Full line-up TBA. ► Interested in DJing at this event or future events? Email us at [email protected] or DM us on FB & Instagram
