GIAG: Community Garden

Join us as we go to the community garden to help with some gardening! The garden is located on Higher Hoopern Lane, Exeter EX4,4SQ just above the East Park accommodation with the closest car parks being Car Park A and B at the top of Rennes Drive We advise wearing clothes and footwear appropriate to the weather on the day as it can get muddy there (there are a limited number of wellies and garden gloves on site. The Garden can be muddy and slippery so wear shoes or walking boots with a good grip. There is no fresh water on-site so bring drinking water, though there will be tea and coffee at the end of the session. There is no toilet on-site. The nearest one is in the Innovations Centre about 5 minutes walk away The garden is generally considered a quiet open space for people to visit- the lower polytunnel is more of a social space for people to relax and get on with less physically demanding tasks.
