Exeter Postgraduate Society Ball

🌸The Postgraduate Society Ball is coming soon! Join us on the 15th of June for a three-course meal and disco at Reed Hall, all in the theme of Gardenia! We have 140 tickets for sale, and we reserve the right to close ticket sales once we reach this number. There are two types of tickets available, one for Postgraduate Society members and one for non-members. Please purchase the correct ticket type; we reserve the right to refund your ticket if you do not. The event will be taking place in the Woodbridge Suite of Reed Hall, and we will also have full access to the grounds of Reed Hall. There will be free car-parking at the venue, but please bear in mind that there will be a bar at the event and if you are planning to drink alcohol you will need to arrange another form of transport. Reed Hall is on Streatham Campus, some attendees may live close enough to walk - please bear in mind that the event ends at midnight and it will be dark. Reed Hall is only a short walk to both St James and St David's train stations. Apple Taxis will also be available, we recommend booking in advance as they can get quite busy. Closer to the date of the event we will provide a way for attendees to arrange to book taxis together. Reed Hall can cater for any dietary requirements except kosher. There is a vegan and meat option for the starter and the main; the dessert will be a chocolate brownie with toffee sauce which is also vegan. When you purchase your tickets you will be asked to answer a couple of questions on your menu choices and dietary requirements; please let us know of any allergies or other requirements so we can let the venue know well in advance. Once you have purchased your ticket you will be added to a mailing list for us to contact you about any further information about the event. This will include how to form tables for the night, whether you are coming with friends or by yourself! There will also be the option of ordering a drinks bucket for the table at an extra cost. We strive to always make our events as inclusive as possible. Anyone is welcome - please bring your friends and/or partners along! Whilst there will be a bar serving alcohol, non-alcoholic drinks will also be served and there is no pressure to drink alcohol at all. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and we will be liaising with the DJ to create a set that should be free of strobe lighting.
