EUCC MTB Taster Ride

MTB Taster ride for Exeter University Cycling Club. Meet outside the University Sports Park for 11:00am, with departure soon afterwards. We'll be heading up to the nearby Haldon Forest to ride some of the trails in the area and therefore we'll be hiring a minibus to get you and your bikes there! This does however mean that spaces are limited on this ride, and they will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis. This ride is suitable for most abilities, although prior experience riding a mountain bike is preferable. Bike hire is available on the day at Haldon Forest and details can be found here: http://www.forestcyclehire.co.uk/ Groups will likely be split up on arrival to Haldon based on ability, although each group will be led by an experienced club member who will have good trail knowledge. IMPORTANT: -> Please ensure that your bicycle is in good working order -> Bring your own tools if possible, (e.g. spare innertube, allen keys etc...) -> Dress sensibly. One thing you'll quickly realise is that good weather in Exeter is not guaranteed, so make sure to check the forecast beforehand! -> Bring plenty of snacks and hydration. -> WEAR A HELMET, or you won't be riding with us! Please only sign up to this ride if you are serious on attending, this is so we can get as many people to Haldon as possible.
