EUCC End Of Season Dinner @Double Locks

Hello EUCC (and friends)! On the 30th of May from 7pm we will be at DL for a BBQd meal under the hot summers sun. The menu options are: Beef burger (or cheese burger) • Vegetable and halloumi kebabs • Chicken breast burger • Pork and chorizo skewer • Plant based burger • Served with a mixed salad and a choice of chips or a jacket potato You’ll also get one free drinks token included in this. This gives you a choice of Prahva Lager, Thatchers Gold, Yellow Hammer OR a pint of coke (lol). The price for members is £10 and non-member is £18. Please feel free to bring along housemates, friends, your cat, or your nan. DRESS CODE is smart-casual summery. So think summer shirts, shorts (!?) etc. Basically just not dinner jackets and tuxedos. There will also be some friendly, light-hearted awards to be dished out. The award categories are… Best MTBer Best Roadie Best Club Member (I.e. someone who is always helpful, great attitude, always riding, etc.) Best Committee Member Most Improved MTBer Most Improved Roadie Best Ride (Good result at a race, someone has ridden well under pressure, something along those lines) Best Crash Worst Mechanic Best Fresher Most Iconic Moment of 2021/22 Best Couple Prizes will be awarded for each category. If you want to nominate someone then feel free to post it in this chat, or you can message me. Once everyone has been nominated I will open a Google Forms page and we’ll have a week of voting before EOSD. Nominations can be made up until that last week (someone can take best crash away from Rory, who currently holds 1st and 2nd spot). To nominate someone, you’ll need to say their name, what you want to nominate them for, and why you’re nominating them.
