▬ Who are we? ▬ We are a student-founded and student-run organisation with the sole aim of organising the best student tours to the most idyllic destinations and landmarks across the UK. Everyone 18 and older is welcome to join our trips even if you are not currently a student. ▬ Where are we travelling to? ▬ LAKE DISTRICT This Day Tour takes in one of the most picturesque and stunning land masses in the UK. The Lake District is made up of 16 lakes and we will be able to view two of the bigger ones on our hike up the storied Catbells fell. After our hike we head to the market town of Keswick for a visit to Derwentwater where you may indulge in a traditional Sunday lunch or indulge the beautiful swans with bird feed. Depending on the weather, you may also consider taking out a canoe for a paddle into the Derwent (from £30 per 4 people, subject to availability). By the end of this tour, you will feel happily exhausted from a great hike but also delighted to have sampled local treats in Keswick and marvelled at nature at the lakes. ▬ How much does it cost? ▬ £37 ▬ What do I get for my money? ▬ ✓ Private return coach travel ✓ Guided hike up Catbells ✓ Visit Derwent Water ✓ Visit Keswick ✓ Tour Leader throughout your tour. ▬ Departure Times & Points ▬ 6:00AM - Castle Rock Hostel, EH1 2PW. 6:15AM - Heriot-Watt Main Reception. ▬ Who can attend our events? ▬ Everyone 18 or older. If you have a visiting boyfriend, girlfriend, partner, sibling or acquaintance, do not hesitate to bring them along. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!!! ▬ Can I get a refund once I have bought a ticket? ▬ No. All tickets, once purchased, are non-refundable.
