Basketball Fundamentals Coaching Workshop

Programme overview Day: Wednesday Date: 29th March 2023 Time: 5pm-7pm (5pm-6pm Main Hall, 6pm-7pm Board Room) This coaching workshop will equip aspiring basketball coaches / volunteers with necessary skills and confidence to make a start on their coaching journey and to contribute to the community in a meaningful and impactful way. The programme is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain experience and assist the small number of existing coaches to continue to implement the Strategic Plan to grow the sport of Basketball in Trinity Sport and Dublin’s Inner-city. The primary aim of this programme is to create a pool of volunteers, which will be able become basketball activators. There will be opportunities in Trinity Sport and you will also get the opportunity to accompany our coaches during basketball sessions in primary schools / after schools programmes / Club Academy etc, and essentially expand the reach of these coaches, whilst gaining massive experience and being proactive with their own personal development.
