It's Turkey time! The biggest event of November, maybe even of 2023, has rolled around and is finally here! We will be hosting our joint American-Canadian Thanksgiving dinner at Exeter's Ship Inn at 6pm on Monday the 20th of November! We would love to have you there to share some amazing food and your company! We will be hosting this dinner with a pre-planned holiday menu provided to us by the Ship Inn, so while the food may not be a fully "conventional" Thanksgiving dinner, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. If you purchase a ticket, you will receive an email with an order form, allergy questionnaire, menu and allergen menu. The allergen form AND order form MUST be filled out by Friday the 10th of November in order to ensure that we get the food selections to the Ship Inn on time. If you have not filled out the allergen forms and your food selection by this time, we will not be able to confirm that there is allergy safe food available for you. We will also auto-fill a food selection for anyone who has not yet completed a order form within the timeframe, but has purchased a ticket. If you do have allergies and are concerned about cross-contamination or the ingredients, we will send around a detailed allergen form, but please also feel free to contact us directly with any questions you may have so we can contact the relevant people to offer answers to those questions! While we would love to be able to have absolutely everyone join us, our ticket availability for this event is unfortunately very limited, so if you are interested, please try and catch a ticket as soon as you can. We will be having a members pre-sale for those who have already purchased a membership, which will go on sale 2 days before general sale tickets do. The members pre-sale starts on the 27th of October, and the non-members sale goes up on the 29th of October. There are a limited amount of tickets for general admission, so nab them while you can! If you are partaking in the members pre-sale,you will be asked for proof of membership when purchasing a ticket, so please take the time to find your membership promo code when purchasing a pre-sale ticket. You will also be asked for your membership code (which can be found on your guild dashboard page, as well as on your membership purchase conformation email), so please have that ready! Tickets are also 1 per customer because this is a limited event, so please refrain from buying multiple tickets under the same account. If you do reserve a ticket, please make sure you do turn up to the event, because you will still be liable to being charged for your meal regardless your attendance. Tickets are unfortunately non-refundable, so if you are unable to attend, please get in contact with us so we can offer your meal to someone else! The deadline for doing this is the 10th of November.Again, we also have a very limited number of tickets, so please book with the intention of coming to join us! Thank you for understanding! This event is not a sober event, but we kindly ask that you refrain from drinking in excess — Thanksgiving is about celebrating the good times and spending it in good company, so we want to make sure everyone has a enjoyable evening!
