'A Wilde Life' at The Town and Gown, 8pm, 26th July 2022

START TIME: 8pm 'A Wilde Life' is a musical celebration of the ineffable Oscar Wilde. It is a sultry, witty and powerful retelling of his life that takes place in a Parisian jazz cafe, at the end of his life. With the rumour-mill turning after a scandalous trial, Wilde recreates his life on the stage to celebrate and reflect on the turbulent journey that has brought him here. The score combines elements of classic musical theatre styles with jazz and blues music to create an eclectic sound. 'A Wilde Life' is an hour of unadulterated queer representation and celebration. Online ticket sales will be unavailable from 6:30pm on the night of the performance. Tickets will still be available to by on the door at Town and Gown until doors close at 7:55pm. Please note: Latecomers will not be admitted.
