Come along and join our Christmas Calligraphy Workshop for Beginners! This 3 hour workshop is perfect for anyone that wants a couple of hour’s fun, learning how to create beautiful handwriting in the traditional style using a nib and ink. ********A starter gift pack is included in the price so that you can carry on your calligraphy journey after the workshop************* This workshop will start with tips on how to use a traditional nib and ink and general maintenance of your nib. We will then move on to some warm up strokes to teach you the basic formation used to create your letters. After that you will form lower and uppercase letters. You will them move on to use you calligraphy skills personalise a bauble using embossing glitter. Finally moving creating your own personal Christmas card. There are many benefits to calligraphy such as: mindfulness, creativity, positive thinking and wellbeing.
