Hartlepool: Sum Ting for the Weekend!

Okay, so it's a play on words, but we've got you covered this March! On Saturday, March 14th, Sum Ting Wong is coming to The Corporation Club to tear the house down! Bringing that sass and wit we've all seen on Ru Paul's Drag Race UK Season 1, we're ready to entertain. “So, let’s get a few things straight,” Wong says. “I’m first generation born here. I didn’t speak any English until the age of three. I live an oriental Chinese Vietnamese background so going from that and being told I need to go to school, university, you need to get good job, you need to get married, have a house, kids. I am none of that. “People talk about representation all the time, but if a little Chinese h*** is watching this at home and sees me and thinks wow I’ve been brought up to do those things too. “If you are unhappy then I am going to tell you to do what you love.” ...and that is just what she did! This Queen will be descending on our very own Corporation Club on March 14th! We're thrilled to be having her, and she's thrilled to be joining us!
