Exeter Uni Surf Club Freshers week online events

Hi guys! thanks for checking out our page. With the constantly changing rules and guidelines on gathering sizes and activities we've decided to put on a few different online events. Feel free to check em out ! We are incredibly excited to have Tom Kay as a guest speaker this freshers week. He is the founder of Finisterre based in St.Agnes Cornwall , which produces sustainable high quality and innovative clothing made for surfers and other outdoors enthusiasts. The brand is rapidly becoming a staple name for british surfers, and expanding to the rest of the world. He is also the helm at one of the UK's most dangerous lifeboat stations. As soon as his pager buzzes he drops everything to risk his own life to protect others. He is going to talk about the starting phase of Finisterre, doing business sustainability, lifeguarding, surfing and everything in between. We will also run a q & a session at the end. Tom’s dedication to Finisterre and the incredible clothing he has created is phenomenal and his impact on society is not to be underestimated. He is already and will continue to push the frontiers of British surfing onwards. His values of bravery and commitment to his community is also not to be overlooked ! This is not one to miss.
