Here it is, the only way to start your time in Sheffield. 3000 students and YOU, kicking off Sheffield Hallam Freshers Week 2018 with the return of the biggest freshers’ event Sheffield has ever seen, Freshers Festival! Set across an entire closed off street in the heart of the city, we have 5 arenas of music, complete with a big name lineup, a special guest, confetti blasters, a giant GLObot, glitter stations, street decoration and much more. This year we present one of the biggest DJs in the UK right now, James HYPE! James is coming off the back of another huge summer of festivals all over Europe, blowing crowds away with his high energy performances. His 2017 release “More Than Friends” was one of the biggest soundtracks of the summer, and an upcoming release with Craig David promises to deliver yet another banger. He will be joined by viral sensation DJ Lawrence James, along with a host of Sheffield’s best resident DJs. We also have another surprise in store, as we are joined by Love Island 2018 star Eyal Booker. Things will be getting deep in Viper Rooms, and you might even get a chance to recouple with him at the meet and greet. This is the first night of Sheffield Hallam Freshers’ Week 2018 and the second Sunday of Sheffield Freshers Fortnight 2018.
