With a definitive line up of their leading talents and stalwarts of the scene including Patife, Bryan Gee, Fabio, Carlito & Addiction and Artificial Intelligence, what a way to kick April off. An imprints founded on a tight crew of mates, each buzzing and bouncing off one another, pushing and pulling what was a then a brand new sound, V Recordings continues to evolve and smash it with in demand sets at International festivals and clubs. Famed for bringing the likes of Roni, Krust, Dillinja and Marky to the fore, you could list the scene-shattering records V put out for days. Their recent album, the monolithic 50-track ‘Planet V Drum & Bass Vol 2’ showcases new talent alongside the hundreds of classics V’s built its reputation on as one of the benchmark imprints in the history of the dnb scene. Having played at festivals such as Sun & Bass and Sonar, Brazil’s DJ Patife is best known for the track 'Sambassim', which was played by everyone from Gilles Peterson and Laurent Garnier to Andy C. Label boss and hype DJ in his own right Bryan Gee is flanked by leading stalwart of the scene Fabio, the elder statesman along with partner Grooverider, who are hailed around the globe for their energy and vibes on the dance floor. Keeping the quality flowing are Artificial Intelligence breaking contagious new tunes like ‘Shine’ and the forthcoming ‘Masters EP’ on Metalheadz. Seminal and genre shaping liquid Drum & Bass Producers & DJs Carlito & Addiction, known for their ‘recent ‘Dreams & Patterns EP’ and classic ‘Just Wanna Be' and 'Supergrass' tunes on labels like Creative Source and Hospital Records combine with another soldier of the scene Donovan Smith. Rounding off the selectors is the soulful and younger liquid sound of Danny Wheeler.
