As part of Refugee Festival Scotland, Glasgow St. Pauli, United Glasgow FC and Scottish Documentary Institute present Freedom Fields - the story which follows three women and their football team in post-revolution Libya. The screening is a free event and will be followed by a family friendly football event which United Glasgow FC will lead at Firhill football pitches complex. We encourage those that come to see the film to then come along for the free football event to see the great work that United Glasgow provide to the community by using football as a method of integration. The football event is non competitive and beginners are encouraged to come along and take part. Please bring comfortable trainers. Please arrive from 12:00 to take your seat in the cinema. There will be creche facilities available in the Community Central Halls for smaller children.. we recommend bringing a small lunch / snack with you on the day.. Bus fare can also be re-reimbursed on the day if requested. Film will start at 12:30 Family football event will start at 3pm Language - Arabic, English
