This September we are hitting up a new city, this time debuting in Leeds! ...and for this very special night we have invited Afriquoi to come and attend us celebrate the next chapter of MILK as we descend upon Blueberry Hill Studios for a night to remember. Joining us will be our friends from over at the marvellous 42 Sound System who will be providing us with their hand-crafted roots system for the evening, as well as. a number of talented selectors from near, far & wide who will be supporting Afriquoi with the likes of everything from House & Disco to Soca & Jungle. - Bio - Afriquoi are undoubtably one of the UK’s most in-demand Afro-Electronic artists, in September we will relish in the sweet sounds of this underground sensation with a special 90 Minute solo Live percussion & DJ Performance. Formed in 2011 out of London’s cultural melting pot, this groups joint experience spans over three decades and originates transnationally & seamlessly from Africa, the Caribbean and from the UK. Afriquoi’s extravagant identity is a truly unique fusion of sound knowledge and culture from around the world. Their DJ sets have been known to bounce seamlessly between Afro, Jazz and Disco, to Garage, Jungle, House & UK-Bass, with performances everywhere from Glastonbury, Eastern Electrics and Dimensions Festival.
