Distilled welcomes in their new home, the Old Crown Courts - a space cut from Bristol's past with a fresh approach to underground music. We're brining a minimalist approach to clubbing with a string of cutting edge artists, to give this Victorian complex a proper shakedown and you lot an almighty Friday night shindig. Buckle up, we've got quite a year ahead. Lineup I Court Room i: PAUL WOOLFORD Hot off the production press with his latest release 'You Already Know', his Radio 1 Live show in Ibiza and ongoing residency, it's safe to say the man is in spectacular form. That being said, there's not much he hasn't done over the last decade and a half. Checking his discography - labels such as Hotflush, Phonica, Aus Music, Carl Craig's historic Planet E imprint, all featuring Woolford over the years - and the consistency of his output is just one indication of his success, alongside a DJing career that has taken him to the Berghain, Panorama Bar, a Space Ibiza residency and many more. But what is truly impressive, as he alluded to back in 2012, is that while aiming not to feed the 'touring machine' he has still managed to attract mainstream appeal without losing the core tenets of his sound - a formula for piano riffs that is unmistakable, an underlying groove that harks back to his jacking Chicago-house roots, and always a sense of pushing technical boundaries. It is a sound upon which we founded this party, so it is quite a treat having him play for us as we begin this new chapter.
