With a dizzying tour schedule that has shown no sign of letting up in over five years, and his own productions breaking ground with their infectious originality, he certainly lives up to his name. Driven by a curiosity of how people move, why they move, and what makes them want to keep moving, Dan Shake isn’t just loaded with peak time weapons – he is one. Combining a hedonistic thirst for different genres with the technicality that parallels some of the best DJs of the era, Shake can cooly open up a warp tunnel between 1978 and 2022, between Brazilian samba and Dutch acid, between a heaving techno tunnel and a balmy Barca backstreet. Once he hits a peak of energy, he’s going to stay there and he’s going to keep you there for hours. This indulgent charm and expert ear has resulted in a truly international list of shows in locations as far flung from home as Beirut, Seoul, Rio de Janeiro, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Medellin and Buenos Aires. Catch him whipping up a frenzy at Sugar Mountain in 2018: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxXWqw-zfMg Sally C: If recent times have taught us anything, it’s that Sally C ain’t messing about. The Belfast-born, Berlin-based DJ has stamped herself as one of the most exciting new artists on the scene, thanks wholly to her inspired selector skills. With a deep passion for vintage house that crosses the gamut of hip house and acid, right up to future-facing techno and electro rollers, she has developed a knack for selecting timeless, slept on classics that deserve the shine her sets bring. Sally C's DJ sets are a lot like a 1988 Chicago block party; thick with a groove that dives deep into the essence of what makes us dance. Her distinct flair on the ones and twos has seen her amass a growing following with throwdowns everywhere from Melt! Festival, Säule at Berghain, Lovebox and tours of Oz/NZ and India. Her 2019 set at AVA Festival in her birthplace of Belfast also doubled as her Boiler Room debut followed up last year by a B2B with Cromby. Check out her famed debut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8vA0TRx9ag Elkka: London-based Elkka began her path as a singer-songwriter and has evolved into a multi-faceted producer, DJ and label boss. Sitting firmly in a lane of her own creation, Elkka’s music is a cross-pollination between house, electronica, percussive beats and dreamy vocals. When performing, she immerses herself in her art - from expansive, cross-genre DJ sets to hypnotic live shows. Elkka made the shift from singer/songwriter to producer and artist in 2016. In that same year she founded femme culture, the London-based record label and collectiveborn out of the desire to champion women in the arts and push forward-thinking music. The label’s annual HeForShe compilation has garnered critical success and featured the likes of Octo Octa, DJ Boring, and DJ Python. Elkka kicked off 2021 with a new 5 track EP “Euphoric Melodies”, which has received critical acclaim. Her momentum is fuelled by a silo of authentically danceable music; to date, her work has been supported by Four Tet, Floating Points, Caribou, George Fitzgerald, Annie Mac and more.
