The aim of the African and Caribbean Medical Society (ACMS) is to provide social, emotional and academic support for medical students of African and Caribbean backgrounds. We aim to support this underrepresented group e.g., through mentor-mentee relationships and be a voice for them in Queen’s University of Belfast, thus enhancing the student experience. ACMS also aims to form professional networks between graduates and current students. Lastly, we aim to assist African and Caribbean secondary school students who aspire to study Medicine.
PS: all interested Allied healthcare professionals and non-African or Caribbean students are also welcome to join:)
