International Sitar Festival Baithak - Birmingham

Celebrate the sounds of the Sitar as the Sitar Music Society brings the International Sitar Festival to Birmingham. Come for an intimate evening of music featuring esteemed Sitarist Siddharth Kishna, accompanied by Birmingham's very own up and coming Tabla player, Prabhjot Singh Hunjan. Siddharth Kishna hails from the Netherlands where, in his early age, he was exposed to various great musicians who inspired in him a reverence for Indian Classical Music. Prabhjot Singh Hunjan has been learning and playing Tabla most of his life and follows the disciplines of the Benaras and Punjab Gharanas of Tabla which brings a unique flavour to his playing.
