What is The Operation? The Operation understands that all music is language, all dance is soulful, and the combination is an expression of our basic instincts. What we do is give you the time & place to bust a move, and for this one, the 4th in our Operation 99 series, you won't have any issues. Trust us, we're doctors. A mix of classic old school, the best new music to hit the scene, and the biggest artists in town. This is how we do at The Operation. We preach in good nights out. We didn't feel there was a bridge between commercial and underground music in Oxford. So we created, The Operation. Our first run of events, 'Operation 99', geared up to put 99 nights on in Oxford to create a staple in the scene. Since launching our first gig at The Cellar in October 2018, we've moved mountains in the way of pulling in acts to Oxford, & bringing the underground scene up to eye level for some who may have previously have given nothing less than Bruno Mars a chance. Within the first 5 months of starting up, we've pulled off gigs in Bridge, Cellar, & Cirkus, with an underground event; 'The C-Wing', running weekly at Cirkus. Combining only the finest of current music with the heavy tones of the underground, we've created a vibe that suits all ears, and since the formidable Cellar was closed down, it seemed only right to bring the underground culture in Oxford to surface in a BiG way. The response since running our first line of events has been huge, with the brand growing quicker than we can keep up with, but finally it's time to jump start the original series, and give you something to talk about.
