RockSoc climbing trip 2020

Hi Everyone! RockSoc are organising the FIRST EVER BSMS outdoor rock climbing trip! We will be travelling to the nearby Bowles rocks (near Tunbridge Wells), which is one of THE BEST outdoor climbing venues in the south east. Our climbing adventure will be facilitated through The Bowles Rocks Trust (https://bowles.rocks/) who are a charity dedicated to outdoor education for young people. Your ticket includes: - A full day of climbing consisting of 2 x (three hour) fully instructed sessions focusing on Toprope and Bouldering disciplines (i.e. with and without ropes): 9:30-12:30 = First instructed climbing session 12:30-13:30 = Picnic break 13:30-16:30 = Second instructed climbing session - Full gear rental (ropes, climbing shoes, helmets, harnesses etc.) Price: MedSoc member - £35 Non-MedSoc member - £39 What to pack: - flexible clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting muddy - A warm, waterproof jacket - A packed lunch Travel to and from the venue : We will be meeting on the day and travelling as a group utilising the 29 bus, which takes us all the way there and back on the network saver network.
