Mandatory Training

A 1 hour training session on the essentials of volunteering with Make a Smile. The session will include: - Overview of the charity, what we do and who we are - Introduction to Character Studies - Working with Children This training must be completed by volunteers before they can start attending events. Note: keeping with University COVID precautions and manage capacity, we will be running 2 sessions; where volunteers will only have to get a ticket for one of the two 1 hour slot options.
