It seems like just yesterday that Skepsis was playing our launch party last year, and in the intervening twelve months he has risen from relative obscurity to take his place at the helm of the new breed of bass music producers. Drawing inspiration from the old-school 4x4 bassline sound that enjoyed a surge of popularity in the early 00s before the untimely closure of Sheffield’s Niche club, his tunes captured the attention of big players in the industry - and since then it’s been all uphill. With recent highlights including playing a 15,000-strong crowd on the Bang Hai Industries stage at Boomtown Fair as well as regular headline shows up and down the country, this guy is no stranger to the big stage - and his role as one of the founders of the Lengoland movement is testament to the impact that he has had on contemoprary dance music.
We’re also very lucky to have Sammy Virji on support duties for this one. Sammy exploded onto the scene with his One Dance remix a few months ago, and with plenty more slammers in his portfolio we think it’s safe to say we can expect huge things from him in the not-too-distant future.
Advance tickets are live now and we’re expecting demand to be through the roof. Don’t hang about.
