Leeds University Union Theatre Group production of Macbeth in Pyramid, LUU! ‘Stars hide your fires, let not light see my black and deep desires’ In the aftermath of a bloody civil war, General Macbeth receives a prophecy from three witches that he will one day become king. Driven by the words of the weird sisters, Macbeth and his wife are lead down a dark path fuelled by ambition and greed in their quest for greatness, but at what cost?
