The Four Seasons

Durham University Ballet Company will be performing their brand-new production of The Four Seasons on 13th June 2021 in The Tent on the Durham Racecourse. The original narrative and choreography will be performed by a talented cast of dancers, alongside a live orchestra, to Vivaldi’s famous score with additional recomposed pieces from Tchaikovsky’s ’Seasons’. The Four Seasons tells a story of the bond between two sisters who become separated from each other in a forest. As the sisters struggle to find their way back to each other, we witness both the power of nature and the power of family. This beautiful full-length ballet, with gorgeous costumes and sets, is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages. With limited audience capacity, tickets are expected to sell-out quickly, so book now to avoid disappointment! Running time 1 hour 30 (approx.) with intervals. The Tent on the racecourse is a COVID secure environment to support the performing arts activities in June 2021. To be situated on the Racecourse and ran in accordance to the university and government guidance, supervised with COVID marshals.
