100th Anniversary of Czechoslovakia

Dear Friends, On behalf of the Czech and Slovak Society, we would like to cordially invite you to our event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the foundation of Czechoslovakia on Friday the 30th of November at 6 pm. This year has been a full of turmoil in both of our countries and we would like to make use of the remarkable occasion to offer you a talk by the leading expert on Central Europe from the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies of UCL. Dr Thomas Lorman will talk us through the defining moments of our 100 years and remind us of the crucial topic of Morality and its meaning in the Czech and Slovak cultures.
