2023 SOMERVILLE BAME FORMAL

Join us for our annual Somerville BAME formal where once again we will be celebrating the diversity in Oxford with a three course dinner and speeches from Somerville alumni. This will be followed by Briana Williams singing at our terrace bar. We encourage you to wear ethnic clothing and the dinner will be BYOB, but there will be pre-drinks in the Mary Somerville room from 6.30pm for those joining us on the high table. If you would like to be seated at the high table please could you email us on one of the email addresses stated below before buying a ticket and we will see whether can accommodate you. The high table spots will tend to be reserved from BAME reps from other colleges, the speakers and members from the Somerville JCR. The main dinner will start at 7.30pm but we ask that all guests aim to be seated by 7.20pm. The menu and we ask that choose from the vegetarian/vegan or the non-vegetarian menu. If you need to change the name on the ticket after the 6th of November (when ticket sales end) please make sure that you have given your ticket to someone with exactly the same dietary requests - the catering team will not be providing for new requests on the day itself and you will be refused the meal. If you would like to transfer your ticket to someone else before the 6th of November simply email us with any changes, all dietary requirements in this case can be accommodated.
