On the production line we’ve got dealers of disco, funk and soul music, Langsett Dance Orchestra, playing alongside the legendary Pow Wow Club resident DJ, Mik Parry. The Langsett Dance Orchestra will be ruling the main stage with their live big-band funky madness to manufacture some hip-swinging beats, riffs and licks guaranteed to scuff up our dancefloor. The 18-piece band best known for their covers of swinging jazz will be performing an ultra-special set of funk and soul for your listening pleasure, expect a lot of class, a lot of brass and a lot of BAD-ASS. Pow Wow resident DJ Mik Parry is back at Yellow Arch with his almighty record collection and will be dropping more seismic funk and northern soul joints of epic proportions, hard and heavy on OH YEAHS. A veteran of the funk n soul scene in Sheffield, Mik Parry has picked up a life-time supply of exotic, obscure and quirky funk music capable of making the mod scene melt at his feet. Our only mission statement: to get your mind, body and soul movin’ and groovin’ while we do it in your eardrums!
