Welcome Back Week: UoECC WOMEN'S ONLY TASTER RIDE 17/01/25

Happy New Year! We are once again offering taster rides to give new students a chance to try cycling. Join us for our women's only ride on 17/01 at 1.30pm! Meet at the bottom of Forum Hill (Stocker Road) by the roundabout for 1:30pm, with departure soon afterwards. This will be a relaxed ride with other girls passionate about cycling - anyone is welcome and we'll have a cafe stop at the end! All rides are also NO-DROP, meaning the main group will wait for any stragglers where necessary. We also have TWO hire bikes available for this ride, one is size small (52cm frame / suitable for 5ft 2 to 5ft 7), and the other is a large (56cm frame / suitable for 5ft 7+). These can be booked by selecting the relevant hire ticket for £4. These are strictly allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. IMPORTANT: -> Please ensure that your bicycle is in good working order -> Bring your own tools if possible, (e.g. spare innertube, allen keys etc...) -> Dress sensibly. One thing you'll quickly realise is that good weather in Exeter is not guaranteed, so make sure to check the forecast beforehand! -> Bring plenty of snacks and hydration. There will likely be a cafe stop, but try not to rely on this. -> WEAR A HELMET, or you won't be riding with us!
