This week we'll be taking a coach to the North-West Devon coast for two walks both ending at the small harbour village of Clovelly.
Both entirely following the South West Coast path, you can expect wonderful views throughout. Walk B starts further along the coast from the destination and includes the entirety of Walk A.
Lengths and ratings:
Walk A (Titchberry to Clovelly): distance-7.5 miles (mild), terrain-severe (coastal path, suitable footwear is essential)
Walk B (Stoke to Clovelly): distance-10 miles (moderate), terrain-severe (steep coastal path, suitable footwear is essential)
Coach pick up times:
Exeter St Davids - 08:50, Lafrowda Cottage - 09:00, VUE cinema Bus Stop 39 - 09:10
Note - Please arrive around 10 mins before your pick up time to account for people counting and ticket checking
We aim to return to Exeter by 18:30.
Before the walk:
Make sure to bring a packed lunch and at least 2 bottles of water, we are unable to stop en-route for food or other supplies.
Remember to wear strong, sturdy hiking boots or shoes. A waterproof layer and sunscreen is also recommended, as well as an extra sweater or hat for warmth.
If you have any medical conditions incl. severe allergies please let our president Jake know, and bring any medication which you may need.
