A renaissance of Ukrainian poetry is happening now, as soldiers and civilians seek to process the horrors of war.
In this workshop, we'll share translations of the poetry by serving members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as well as by some who have been killed, including the novelist and children's writer turned poet and war crimes investigator, Victoria Amelina.
The workshop will draw on their work for inspiration for your own creative pieces, to express what you live for and what precious people and things you wish to defend and protect.
