Tutored Beer Tasting

A Tutored Beer Tasting at Springwell Taproom, in collaboration with the legends at BarthHaas. Alex Millhouse-Smith will be diving deep into everything hops, and he'll have some on hand for everyone to see, touch, and experience up close. Join us for a tasting experience featuring six carefully selected thirds of beer, as we explore the world of hops. We’ll delve into how year-to-year variations in hop harvests can impact a beer's flavour profile, sometimes leading to necessary recipe adjustments—a process we've navigated with our core range beer, Transmission. And don't forget to bring your favourite records! After the tasting, we'll have an open deck session where you can spin your vinyl alongside a set by local electronic DJ Hooley.
