London’s award-winning 1920s-themed speakeasy party celebrates 14 years of live music, cabaret and cocktails in a secret venue filled with candles, where everyone dresses the part.
That’s right—for 14 years we’ve been dodging Prohibition agents to bring you the finest illicit hooch and the hottest jazz. Come and help us celebrate! In our historic ballroom there will be live music from Laurence Corns and his Hot Strings Review, and when the band aren’t playing our DJs the Bee’s Knees will be spinning vintage vinyl. Calling the shots will be our cabaret Host with the Most, Champagne Charlie, and the icing on the birthday cake will be sizzling burlesque from Fallon Dee to evoke the anything-goes atmosphere of the Jazz Age.
In a side room our tarot reader Lucius will be on hand to glimpse into your future, and at the beginning of the evening there will be a complimentary dance lesson in the foxtrot, the default social dance in the 1920s.
You can come just for drinks and dancing, but you can also preorder the three-course dinner, or reserve a table with Champagne (with a menu of bar snacks and sharing platters to order for the table). Ticket-holders get an email a few days before revealing the secret location (close to a tube station). So pull on your flapper dress and get ready to Charleston!
"The closest you'll find to an authentic Jazz Age experience in central London. Its unique ambience, fuelled by hundreds of candles, is truly a scene to behold." —Time Out
