Join OODS as we enjoy the beauty of our own corner of Devon! Newton Poppleford to Sidmouth allows you to enjoy stunning countryside views as well as a gorgeous stretch of coastline. Experience the stunning range of scenery with us this weekend! OODS strongly advises that you MUST wear SUITABLE footwear. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to the walk for unsafe footwear. Now it is coming into winter we will be strict on this so thank you for wearing suitable footwear! The Basics: Newton Poppleford to Sidmouth is a public transport route, using Bus 9/9A. COST OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT IS NOT INCLUDED IN TICKET PRICE! We advise you buy a £2.00 single on the bus! This walk costs £2.50 for non-members, but is totally free for members! Walk A: Newton Poppleford to Sidmouth (LONG) Length: 11 miles / 18 kilometres (Severe) Rating: Moderate. Meet us at Exeter Bus Station at 08:45 to catch the number 9 bus. Walk B: Newton Poppleford to Sidmouth (SHORT) Length: 6 miles / 9.5 kilometres (Moderate) Rating: Moderate. Meet us at Exeter Bus Station at 09:45 to catch the number 9 bus. PLEASE make sure you make it to the pick up location for the given time, the bus WON'T wait!! We aim to be back in Exeter by 18:30. What to bring: You MUST wear suitable footwear and bring weather appropriate clothing (Waterproofs, hats, sun cream, etc.). OODS reserves the right to reject attendees wearing unsafe footwear/clothing. Please bring a lunch and water, as well as snacks.
