T1W4 THE QUANTOCKS HILLS WALKS!

As OODS heads towards its 68th anniversary we have brought back an old favourite! Join us in the Quantocks Hills for walks of phenomenal beauty and adventure. These walks provide stunning views of rural Somerset (and the Bristol Channel if the clouds are in our favour!) with the opportunity to wander through villages that would absolutely win at scrabble! We VERY STRONGLY advise wearing SUITABLE footwear. OODS reserves the right to refuse attendance for unsafe footwear. On the Tintagel hikes your footwear will be formally checked due to the severity! The Basics: - 2 coach walks exploring the gorgeous Quantocks Hills. Ticket price of £17.50 covers cost of transport! (Members get a £5 discount:)) Walk A: West Quantoxhead Circular - Walk length: 8 miles/ 13 kilometres - Moderate. - Walk rating: Moderate. Walk B: Crowcombe to West Quantoxhead - Walk length: 6 Miles/ 10 kilometres - Moderate. - Walk rating: Moderate. Coach pick-up locations: St Davids Station (outside): 8:50, for 09:00 depart. Lafrowda Cottage: 08:55, for 09:05 depart. Cheeke Street, Stop 39: 09:00, for 09:10 depart. Please make sure you are at the pick-up location for the earlier time, the coach WON'T wait. We will be back in Exeter by 18:30. What to bring: You MUST wear suitable footwear and bring weather appropriate clothing (Waterproofs, hats, sun cream, etc.). OODS reserves the right to reject attendees wearing unsafe footwear/clothing. Please bring a lunch and water, as well as snacks.
