Join OODS to enjoy the picturesque Devonian countryside. The Woodbury Circulars are a firm favourite of OODS legend, allowing scenic views across the Exe Valley and South Devon. This walk allows you to enjoy the historic beauty of Devon, going past castles and stunning forests. This is not a hike to be missed. OODS strongly advises that you MUST wear SUITABLE footwear. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to the walk for unsafe footwear. Now it is coming into winter we will be strict on this so thank you for wearing suitable footwear! The Basics: Both walks are public transport walks! We will be using the bus service from Woodbury. COST OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT IS NOT INCLUDED IN TICKET PRICE! You MUST buy your own bus ticket!! This walk costs an additional £2.50 for non-members, but is totally FREE for members! Walk A: Woodbury Circular (LONG) Length: 12 miles / 19.5 kilometres (Severe) Rating: Moderate. Meet us at Exeter Bus Station at 08:05 to catch the 08:20 bus 58. Walk B: Woodbury Circular (SHORT) Length: 5.5 miles / 9 kilometres (Mild) Rating: Moderate. Meet us at Exeter bus Station at 10:25 to catch the 10:40 bus 58. PLEASE make sure you make it to the bus station for the given time, the bus WON'T wait!! We aim to be back in Exeter by 18:30. What to bring: You MUST wear suitable footwear and bring weather appropriate clothing (Waterproofs, hats, sun cream, etc.). OODS reserves the right to reject attendees wearing unsafe footwear/clothing. Please bring a lunch and water, as well as snacks.
