T1W1 Cheddar Gorge Walks!

Join OODS for our first coach trip of the year to the gorge-ous Cheddar Gorge! Come along to enjoy a walk all around the beautiful Cheddar countryside, to bear witness to great cheese and great views. We STRONGLY advise wearing SUITABLE footwear. OODS reserves the right to refuse attendance for unsafe footwear. The Basics: - 2 coach walks around Cheddar Gorge. Ticket price covers cost of transport! (Members get a discount:)) Walk A: Shipham to Cheddar Gorge - Walk length: 7 miles/ 11 kilometres - Moderate. - Walk rating: Moderate, with Severe hill into Cheddar (worth it for the views!) Walk B: Cheddar Gorge Circular - Walk length: 6.5 miles / 10.5 kilometres - Moderate. - Walk rating: Moderate, with Severe hill into Cheddar (worth it for the views!) Coach pick-up locations: St Davids Station (outside): 8:50, for 09:00 depart. Lafrowda Cottage: 08:55, for 09:05 depart. Cheeke Street, Stop 39: 09:00, for 09:10 depart. Please make sure you are at the pick-up location for the earlier time, the coach WON'T wait. We will be back in Exeter by 18:30. What to bring: You MUST wear suitable footwear and bring weather appropriate clothing (Waterproofs, hats, sun cream, etc.). OODS reserves the right to reject attendees wearing unsafe footwear/clothing. Please bring a lunch and water, as well as snacks. Returns policy: If you are unable to attend the walk please contact the society no later than Thursday 26th September. If you try to cancel your ticket after this point we cannot guarantee you a refund.
