Whether you’re a seasoned coder or new to hackathons, this is your chance to collaborate, build, and showcase your ideas in an intense, fun-filled environment! Event Details: Date & Time: Saturday, 25th January 2025, 12 PM to Sunday, 26th January 2025, 12 PM(Contestants must arrive between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM on the 25th.) Location: Main Hall, Plymouth Entry Fee: Completely FREE! What is a Hackathon? If you’re new to hackathons, don’t worry—here’s how it works! A hackathon is a collaborative coding event where individuals or teams come together to build something amazing within a limited time. At PLYMHACK 2025, we’ll first reveal the topic at 11:30 AM, giving you the inspiration and direction for your project. From 12:00 PM, you’ll have 24 hours to create a software program, app, website, or any other coded solution that fits the theme. You can form teams of up to 5 members (or fewer, if you prefer) to tackle the challenge. It’s all about creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork! What to Expect: Food & Drinks: Don’t worry about food—we’ll have plenty of meals, snacks, and drinks to keep you fueled! All-Nighter Challenge: The hackathon expects you to power through the night and bring your best ideas to life! But if you need rest, feel free to bring sleeping bags, pillows, or anything else you need to recharge. Collaboration & Fun: Work in teams or go solo to tackle exciting challenges, solve problems, and create innovative projects. Tickets: Entry is free, but spots are limited!
