OODS CHRISTMAS WALK & DINNER 2.o!!

BUY YOUR RE-SALE TICKETS HERE FOR THE OODS "CHRISTMAS" WALK AND MEAL!!! PLEASE READ THE TICKET CAREFULLY! Come and celebrate Christmas with OODS! There's "snow" rest for the wicked, so we're combining the things we love best to make sure everyone is in for a treat this holiday season: Dartmoor and the pub! We will have a beautiful walk over some of the prettiest parts of Dartmoor, enjoying views and tors alike! Then we will head to the Fountain Inn for a 3 course Christmas dinner to thaw out! OODS strongly advises that you MUST wear SUITABLE footwear. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to the walk for unsafe footwear. Remember, Santa Claus wears boots so you should too! The Basics: This will be a public transport walk on the trains! We would advise using a student railcard if you have one! Okehampton Circular Length: 7 miles / 11 kilometres. Rating: Moderate-Severe - This is Dartmoor in the winter! Please meet us at Exeter St David's Station at 09:25 to catch the 09:39 to Okehampton. (Alternatively, you can catch this service from Exeter Central at 09:34). PLEASE make sure you make it to the station for the given time, the train WON'T wait!! We aim to be back in Exeter by 19:30. MENU CHOICES: The food options remain the same as originally, so please check out our social media for the menu. HOWEVER, because we are so close to the event we are unable to guarantee all food items on the menu, and instead will be operating dividing up remaining options on a first come, first served basis. So priority will be given to dietry requirements (allergies, vegetarian etc). Once you have purchased your ticket please reach out to Fran so she can show you the options. (Either on the member's whatsapp, via social media or in person on the train). ** PLEASE LET US KNOW ANY ALLERGIES ETC** What to bring: You MUST wear suitable footwear and bring weather appropriate clothing (Waterproofs, hats, sun cream, etc.). OODS reserves the right to reject attendees wearing unsafe footwear/clothing. Please still bring water and snacks for the hike!! Returns policy: If you are unable to attend the walk please contact the society no later than Friday 29th November. We are unable to guarantee a refund after this point.
